Health & Safety.

Like all activities in the construction industry, sprayed concrete and associated works need to be planned and executed with due regard to Health, Safety and Environment. It is advisable only to employ the services of competent designers, suppliers and contractors (members of the Sprayed Concrete Association - http://www.sca.org.uk/) to carry out these works.

Our Director, Stuart Manning, has been Chairman of the Sprayed Concrete Association and believes that the company must act as role models for the industry.

Key hazards, such as working with cementitious products, dust inhalation, HAVS and working with high pressure are continually monitored to minimize risks to operatives.

The company operates a continuous training programme to ensure we meet the requirements of the construction, rail and tunneling industries.

Health, Safety and Environment underpins our core values and employee safety is paramount.

By the end of this year, Shotcrete Services aim to have a full time NEBOSH qualified Health & Safety Manager.
